Delta Gov Appoints 11 New Permanent Secretaries, Swearing-In Set for May 13

The Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of 11 new Permanent Secretaries in the Delta State Public Service.

The announcement was contained in a government special statement signed by Mr. Tetsola Anino Nelson, Permanent Secretary (State Protocol Matters), Directorate of Government House and Protocol.

According to the statement, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:

Dr. Yinkore A. Paul

Dr. Okwunze A.C

Amadubogha Peters

Nkenchor O.O.

Akambe O.H

Engr. Aghagba S.

Ogbugo Victor Chike

Ighoyota M. Rocky

Itawansa Augustine A.

Onobraekpeyan O. Edwin

Nkemachor Lucky

The statement further disclosed that the swearing-in ceremony for the appointees will hold on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, by 10:00 a.m.

Guests expected at the ceremony have been advised to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
