Okowa Pledges Inclusive Representation, Calls for Unity in Delta North
Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Delta North APC Senatorial District candidate, has called for unity and inclusive representation, stressing the need for every community and interest group to have a voice in the political process.
Okowa made the call in a message centred on collective participation, dialogue and the need to build a stronger and more effective representation for the people of Delta North.
He emphasised that meaningful progress could only be achieved when individuals and communities work together toward a common purpose, rather than pursuing separate interests.
According to him, every voice matters and every group has an important role to play in shaping the future of the district.
«“Every voice matters. Every group has a place in our shared journey. Together, we will listen, deliberate, and act with a common purpose, ensuring that every community is heard, every interest is respected, and our people have the strong and effective representation they deserve,” Okowa said.»
The former Delta State governor further stressed the importance of unity, urging the people to rise above individual interests and work collectively for the development and progress of the district.
“We cannot move forward as individuals. We must rise together, stand together, and advance together, as one people with one shared purpose,” he added.
His remarks come against the backdrop of growing political engagement ahead of the senatorial contest, with issues of representation, inclusion, accountability and community development expected to remain central to discussions among voters.
Okowa’s message therefore places emphasis on a participatory approach to representation, where communities are listened to, diverse interests are respected, and decisions are made with the broader interests of the people in mind.
As the campaign progresses, the APC candidate is seeking to position his candidacy around unity, collective action and what he describes as strong and effective representation for the people of Delta North.
