Barrister Dino Mela, a Nigerian lawyer and politician, a former senator and a member of the 8th Nigeria National Assembly, representing Kogi West Senatorial district, from Ayetoro Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State has condemned in strong terms on what he called, “President Tinubu’s Pardons to drug Lords”.
Dino Melaye on his Social media handles, Facebook page said, “Pardon granted 70 drug lords by Pres Tinubu is unprecedented in history”.
“Checks have revealed that it has never happened in the history of the world. My advise to the President is to scrap the NDLEA. His action has made a beautiful nonsensical of all the efforts of the agency since inception”. The former law maker reacted.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have continued to react to the Presidential pardon extended to some persons.
