The Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, has extended warm felicitations to the President of the Senate, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Government and people of Edo State, Governor Okpebholo praised Senator Akpabio’s “uncommon leadership,” noting that his contributions to national development continue to stand out in Nigeria’s political landscape.
The governor highlighted Senator Akpabio’s transformative tenure as Governor of Akwa Ibom State and commended his current role at the helm of the 10th National Assembly. He lauded the Senate President’s collaborative approach to legislation and his steadfast support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to Governor Okpebholo, Senator Akpabio’s efforts have helped strengthen democratic governance, enhance legislative cohesion, and promote national stability. He added that Edo State values the Senate President’s statesmanship and the atmosphere of unity and purposeful leadership he fosters at the federal level.
