Edo Residents Hail Gov.Okpebholo’s Developmental Stride

Edo state Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo on Saturday in Udomi, Esan Central Local Government Area of the state, inspected some ongoing projects as residents hailed his developmental stride.

 

The projects inspected include the construction of a 150-bed space Edo Specialist Hospital, Hostel accomodation, School of nursing science, Senate building and Udomi holiday resort center.

 

The residents, who trooped out in their numbers, prayed that God should continue to protect governor Okpebholo for his administration laudable projects spread across Edo.

 

One of the resident, Mrs Theresa Ehimentafor, commended the governor for bringing development down to Udomi community, adding that this was the first time the community will be experiencing such development.

“The developments brought into our community by our governor are commendable, we are proud of him, and we are going to reward him by voting for him to complete his eight years in office”, she said.

 

Another resident, Mr Akhere Okosun, explained that the community is experiencing massive development since it’s inception, adding that the people are amazed by the projects spread around the community.

 

“This is the first time our community is having a teaching hospital, this is the first time we are having an army base, this is the first time our community is having Udomi holiday resort center, we are happy to see all these projects being executed by our governor”, he said.

 

Also speaking, Ms Omozusi Osolease, noted that they were ashamed of themselves before now, saying that the community was never developed before the administration of the present governor.

 

“Before now, we were ashamed of ourselves, when are brother became the governor, he turned everything around, we are now leaving in a city, he is building a hospital, he is building a barrack, he is building school.

 

“We now have more teachers in our primary schools, the youths are being employed, my prayers for him is that no evil shall fall to him”, she said.
