Today, I inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the historic Oba Market, which was tragically gutted by fire a few years ago.
During my campaign, I made a solemn promise to the people of Edo that, if elected Governor, I would ensure this market is rebuilt. Today, I am glad to report that work is progressing steadily and according to plan.
We are not just rebuilding — we are remodeling Oba Market into a modern facility with the look and feel of a shopping mall, befitting our great city and the hardworking traders who make it thrive.
