Edo Works Commissioner Assures Timely Completion of Ongoing Road Projects in Benin City

In line with the Edo State Government’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure development, the Commissioner for Works, Dr. Felix Akhabue, has assured residents that all ongoing road and flyover projects across Benin City will be completed and delivered as scheduled.

Dr. Akhabue emphasized that the state government remains resolute in its determination to uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and timely execution in all infrastructure projects.

The Commissioner gave the assurance during an inspection tour of ongoing road construction and flyover projects within the Benin metropolis, where he assessed the level of work done and engaged contractors on project timelines.

According to him, the administration will not compromise on construction standards, stressing that the projects are critical to improving traffic flow, enhancing safety, and boosting economic activities in the state capital.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that residents of Benin City reap the full benefits of durable and people-oriented infrastructure
