BENIN CITY, Edo State — The Presiding Bishop of RACAI Global, Pastor Charles Osazuwa, has described faith as the “currency” of the Kingdom of God, emphasizing that every spiritual transaction is accessed through unwavering belief in God.
Speaking during Sunday’s worship service in Benin City while delivering a message titled “Winning Faith (Part 1),” Osazuwa said just as nations operate with their respective currencies—the dollar in the United States, the naira in Nigeria, and the pound sterling in the United Kingdom—the Kingdom of God also operates with its own currency: faith.
According to him, the greatest strategy of the devil is to attack the believer’s faith because weakening faith diminishes a Christian’s effectiveness and ability to receive from God.
“The enemy’s greatest attack is an attack on your faith. If Satan succeeds in weakening your faith, he can limit your effectiveness,” he said.
Osazuwa explained that God’s promises are accessed through faith, stressing that even what God desires to accomplish in a person’s life cannot be received without it.
He cited Hebrews 11:6, which states that “without faith it is impossible to please God,” noting that a lack of faith places limitations on what believers can experience in their walk with God.
The cleric further described faith as the foundation of every great exploit, calling it a living force that aligns believers with God’s will and enables them to walk in agreement with Him.
Quoting Amos 3:3, “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?” Osazuwa said faith establishes the necessary alignment between God and His children, making it possible for them to experience His purpose and promises.
He urged Christians to guard and strengthen their faith, emphasizing that victory in the Kingdom of God depends on steadfast trust in God’s Word.
