IDAH, Kogi State — A senior staff member of the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, ESV Anthony A. Tinufa, has expressed appreciation to the institution’s Rector, Dr. Y. B. Usman, for nominating him for the position of Deputy Rector (Administration).
Tinufa, in a statement issued after the election, described the nomination as a “profound honour and privilege,” saying it demonstrated the Rector’s confidence in his abilities and contributions to the academic community.
He said the recognition had further motivated him to increase his commitment, energy and experience towards supporting the Rector’s administration and advancing academic excellence at the Polytechnic.
Tinufa also congratulated Dr. Abu Onoja, who emerged as the winner of the election and Deputy Rector (Administration)-elect.
He prayed for a successful tenure for the incoming Deputy Rector, expressing hope that his administration would record “unprecedented success and accomplishments.”
Addressing the Rector, Tinufa said: “Sir, once again to my Rector — E Seun gan nii, Nago, Ojo kibene in Jesus Name.”
