A fire incident occurred at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos on Sunday, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed.
In a statement, FAAN said emergency response teams swiftly responded to the incident and successfully brought the situation under control.
The agency assured the public that no casualties or loss of life were recorded as a result of the fire.
While the cause of the incident has yet to be disclosed, FAAN said further details would be provided as investigations continue.
The authority also reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of passengers, airport personnel, and airport facilities.
