Governor Siminalayi Fubara has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, saying it will allow him to consolidate on his administration’s “bold, daring and ambitious vision” for inclusive and sustainable national development.
Fubara made the appeal on Thursday while declaring open a meeting of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Describing Tinubu as a “dedicated and highly patriotic” leader, the governor said the country would remain on a steady path of progress under his leadership. He urged Nigerians to give the president another mandate, expressing confidence that the nation is in safe hands.
Reflecting on the administration’s performance over the past three years, Fubara pointed to what he described as notable economic reforms and ongoing infrastructure development across the country. He highlighted projects such as the coastal road initiative spanning parts of southern Nigeria as evidence of progress.
While acknowledging that challenges persist in some regions, the governor maintained that the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda continues to offer a clear pathway for economic transformation, improved security, and balanced development nationwide.
Drawing a football analogy, Fubara noted that successful teams are rarely altered, insisting that Nigerians should rally behind Tinubu’s leadership and support his re-election in 2027 to sustain ongoing reforms and development efforts.
