The National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU) Worldwide has announced plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of impactful leadership, academic excellence, and student empowerment across Nigeria and beyond.

Since its establishment in 1995, NADESSTU has grown into a formidable platform uniting Delta State students under a common vision of educational advancement, leadership development, and social progress.

Over the years, the association has remained a strong voice for students, fostering unity and promoting the values of hard work, discipline, and community service.

In a statement announcing the anniversary, NADESSTU National President, Comrade Oweiotu-ebi Oyinkare-ebi Joseph, described the milestone as “a reflection of our shared journey, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the lasting impact we continue to make in shaping the future of Delta youths.”

The three-day celebration, scheduled to hold from November 19th to 21st, 2025, at the Maryam Babangida Leisure Park, Asaba, promises to be a convergence of current and former members, student leaders, and stakeholders from across the state and beyond.

According to the organizers, the event will feature lectures, award presentations, cultural displays, networking sessions, and exhibitions showcasing the association’s journey over the past three decades.

“NADESSTU @ 30 is more than a celebration, it is a call to reflect on our past, celebrate our present, and embrace the promise of a greater future for Delta students,” the statement added.

As the countdown begins, anticipation continues to build among members and well-wishers who view this milestone as a renewed opportunity to strengthen student representation and inspire the next generation of leaders from Delta State.
