Nigeria has officially introduced a 30-day visa-free entry policy for citizens of Rwanda, marking a significant step in strengthening diplomatic and travel ties between both countries.
The move comes as a reciprocal gesture following Rwanda’s existing visa-free access for Nigerians.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) confirmed that all necessary arrangements have been concluded for the rollout of the policy, in line with a directive from President Bola Tinubu.
According to the NIS, the initiative is expected to boost regional integration, ease travel, and deepen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Rwanda.
