PORT HARCOURT — Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has inaugurated three major projects at the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rumuola, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to strengthening technical and entrepreneurial education in the state.
The projects inaugurated include the Entrepreneurship Centre, School of Engineering Building, and the Governing Council/Senate Building.
Governor Fubara said the projects were part of his administration’s efforts to invest in the technical education and skills development of young people in Rivers State.
In a statement, the governor said the government remained committed to promoting technical and entrepreneurial education, enhancing practical skills and creating opportunities for youths.
“We remain committed to promoting technical and entrepreneurial education, enhancing practical skills, creating opportunities and delivering on projects that make a real difference in the lives of our people,” Fubara said.
He added that continued investment in infrastructure and skills development would help equip young people with practical knowledge and create pathways to greater economic opportunities.
The newly inaugurated facilities are expected to support teaching, learning, engineering training, entrepreneurship development and the administrative functions of the institution.
