Pastor David Ibiyeomie and his wife, Mrs Peace Ibiyeomie, have expressed appreciation to members of their church for what they described as a “beautiful surprise” and for the love and honour extended to them.
The couple conveyed their gratitude in a message of appreciation following the surprise, saying they were genuinely overwhelmed by the gesture and did not see it coming.
“What a beautiful surprise! We are deeply grateful to the entire Church for this wonderful surprise and for the love and honour shown to us today. We truly did not see it coming!” the couple said.
Reflecting on their journey, Pastor Ibiyeomie and his wife said they were filled with gratitude to God for how far He had brought them.
“Looking back at our journey and seeing how far God has brought us, our hearts are filled with gratitude,” they said.
The couple also thanked the church for celebrating with them and prayed that members would equally experience divine surprises and testimonies.
“The God who surprised us today will surprise you with your own testimony, in the name of Jesus. Amen!” they prayed.
