Former Rivers State Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, has expressed gratitude to God as he joined his family to celebrate his son, Joaquin, who graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management and Technology Change from King’s College London.

Wike shared the moment of joy on Thursday, describing the occasion as a special opportunity for him, his wife, and their children to witness Joaquin’s academic milestone.

“I am grateful to God for giving me, my wife and children the opportunity to be available to share with my son, Joaquin, his moment of joy,” Wike said.

The former governor also acknowledged the presence and support of close political associates and friends who took time to celebrate with his family at the ceremony.

Among those he thanked were the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri; Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa; and PDP National Vice Chairman (South South), Chief Dan Orbih.

Wike noted that their presence underscored the value of friendship, solidarity, and shared moments beyond public service and politics.

The graduation ceremony at King’s College London marked another significant academic achievement for the Wike family, drawing warm messages and goodwill from associates and supporters.
