LOKOJA, Kogi State — Supporters of Senator Natasha H. Akpoti-Uduaghan are gearing up for what they describe as her grand return to the political terrain of Kogi Central, with her allies promising an extensive engagement with constituents across the senatorial district.
Bashir Haroon, a supporter of the senator, disclosed this in a statement, saying Akpoti-Uduaghan would soon embark on a tour of communities across Kogi Central to reconnect with the people and highlight what he described as achievements recorded during her previous period of representation.
Haroon said the proposed engagement would take the senator and her supporters to communities across the district, where they would present their account of promises made to the electorate and what had been achieved.
“We will once again follow her to the nooks and crannies of Kogi Central to tell the people what we have achieved among the promises we made to them last time we had the chance to solicit their support,” Haroon said.
He added that there was still more work to be done, urging residents of Kogi Central to support what he described as “good representation.”
Haroon subsequently called on voters to support Akpoti-Uduaghan, whom he referred to as the “Queen of the 10th and 11th Senate.”
“Vote Distinguished Senator Natasha H. Akpoti-Uduaghan,” he stated.
The statement signals a renewed political mobilisation around the senator in Kogi Central as attention increasingly turns to future electoral contests in the district.
