The true measure of successful infrastructure is not only in the vehicles that pass over it, but in the people who are drawn to it.

What was conceived as a solution to traffic congestion has quickly become something even more remarkable.

The Ramat Park Flyover is fast emerging as one of Edo State’s newest public attractions, with families, young people and visitors gathering to experience and celebrate a landmark many never imagined would become reality.

For decades, Edo people travelled to other states to admire iconic bridges and modern infrastructure. Today, they are creating memories on one of their own.

That growing public excitement tells an important story. It reflects renewed confidence in the direction of the state and a sense of ownership over projects that are visibly transforming everyday life.

Under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, infrastructure is being delivered not merely as concrete and steel, but as symbols of progress, pride and possibility. The Ramat Park Flyover has become more than a transportation project.

It has become a meeting point, a backdrop for photographs, a place where residents celebrate the changing face of Edo State.

When people voluntarily visit a public project simply to admire it, take pictures and spend time there, it speaks to something beyond engineering. It speaks to hope.

And perhaps that is the greatest achievement of all: building infrastructure that not only moves traffic, but also lifts the spirit of an entire people.
