Revival as of Old: Deeper Life Global Leadership Strategy Congress Ends with Testimonies of Divine Visitation

The Deeper Life Global Leadership Strategy Congress 2026, themed “Revival in the Church as of Old,” has concluded today amid widespread testimonies of God’s touch and visitation among participants.

The congress, which commenced on January 5, 2026, was held at the Deeper Life International Conference Centre (DLICC), Kilometer 42, Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria, and attracted ministers and church leaders from Africa, Asia, Europe, the United States, Canada, and India.

Declaring the congress open, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor (Dr.) William Folorunso Kumuyi, delivered a stirring message titled “Awakening the Present-Day Halting ‘Holy Nation’ (Elijah).” He later brought the week-long program to a close with a powerful, reviving, and flame-kindling message titled “The Revived, Aflame Minister Raising Fiery Revived Men (Aquila).”

A Week of Renewal and Strategic Engagement

The multi-day congress featured plenary sessions that included Faith Clinics, Ministers’ Transformation, Church Leaders’ Renewal Messages, and Missional Church and Ministry sessions. The latter comprised workshops, seminars, and ministerial commitment services, which were held each evening.

Throughout the congress, participants testified of renewed passion for ministry, spiritual awakening, and fresh empowerment for service.

A Call to Abounding Service

The General Superintendent charged congress participants to engage in profitable and rewarding service with renewed faith, hope, and dedication to the Lord. He assured ministers of God’s faithfulness in rewarding every committed labourer in His vineyard.

Quoting Scripture, he declared:

“Therefore, my beloved workers, brethren, ministers in the Lord, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labour in His service is not in vain.”

Under a strong unction, Pastor Kumuyi concluded the congress with prayers and prophetic declarations, invoking God’s riches, grace, and blessings upon all participants as they return to their fields of labour.
