Former Delta State Governor and senator representing Delta North, Ifeanyi Okowa, has reaffirmed his commitment to youth inclusion, accessible representation, and empowerment as part of his second-term campaign engagement with the Delta North College of Youth.

Speaking during a meeting with youth groups and stakeholders across Delta North, Okowa described the engagement as a strong demonstration of unity and collective purpose among young people in the region.

He expressed appreciation for the support and confidence shown by various youth bodies, including student associations, female youth organizations, community groups, political youth leaders, and non-indigene associations that make up the College of Youth.

According to Okowa, the growing participation of young people in leadership and governance remains critical to the development and progress of Delta North.

The former governor also pledged to strengthen partnerships with youths and continue supporting opportunities that would empower the younger generation politically, economically, and educationally.

“Yesterday’s engagement with the Delta North College of Youth was a powerful reminder that when young people unite with purpose, their voice becomes impossible to ignore,” Okowa stated.

He added that his vision remains focused on building a stronger, more united, and progressive Delta North through people-centered leadership and active youth participation.
