President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja on a three-nation diplomatic tour beginning in France on May 3, 2026, with subsequent visits to Kenya and Rwanda. The trip is aimed at strengthening economic ties, advancing Nigeria’s reform agenda, and attracting foreign investment.

During his stop in France, President Tinubu is expected to hold high-level meetings focused on trade expansion, investment opportunities, and bilateral cooperation. He will also participate in key engagements designed to promote Nigeria as a competitive destination for foreign direct investment (FDI).

The tour will continue in Kenya and Rwanda, where the President is scheduled to attend the Africa CEO Forum and engage with business leaders and policymakers on regional economic growth and partnerships.

This latest trip follows a series of recent international and domestic engagements by the President, including visits to the United Kingdom and Turkey, as well as ongoing commitments within Nigeria, such as a planned visit to Plateau State.

Overall, the tour underscores the administration’s commitment to economic diplomacy and global partnerships as part of its broader reform strategy.
