President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday received former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, following Jonathan’s return from Guinea-Bissau.
Jonathan had travelled to the West African country on an election monitoring mission, but concerns arose over his safety after a military takeover disrupted the political environment in Bissau.
Jonathan’s visit to the Villa came shortly after his arrival in Nigeria, as he briefed President Tinubu on the situation in Guinea-Bissau.
