Update:Police Debunk Alleged Assassination Attempt on Naval Officer in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has refuted circulating claims that Nigerian Navy officer Lt. Ahmed Yerima narrowly escaped an assassination attempt in Abuja.

 

In a statement, the Command described the reports as unfounded and lacking credible evidence. It urged the public to disregard the viral narrative, emphasizing that no such incident involving the officer occurred and that the information being shared is false and unverified.

 

Meanwhile, the Roma news gathered that the military has deployed personnel, 8 patrol vehicles to Gado Nasko Road – Sources said.

 

“Fresh indications have emerged that the military has deployed personnel and eight patrol vehicles to the Gado Nasko Road area of Kubwa following an alleged trailing of Lieutenant A.M. Yerima by unidentified persons on Sunday”.
