Benin City — Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has reaffirmed his strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that a performing president cannot be replaced.

The governor made the declaration on Tuesday in Benin City during the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Asiwaju 2027, where he commended President Tinubu’s administration for what he described as bold and courageous reforms across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.

According to Okpebholo, reforms in the economy, security, petroleum, and education sectors are already yielding positive results and restoring confidence in Nigeria’s future.

“You cannot replace a performing President. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s courageous reforms are delivering results and giving Nigerians renewed confidence,” the governor said.

He assured that the people of Edo State are fully prepared to mobilise massive support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, cutting across all demographics, from the grassroots to urban centres.

“Edo people understand that continuity is key to sustaining progress and deepening national development,” he added.

Governor Okpebholo noted that the mobilisation effort would involve party leaders, women groups, youths, and grassroots coordinators, with plans to take the campaign message to every community, church, and mosque across the state.

“A performing President deserves continuity, and Edo State stands firmly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he stated.

The governor emphasized that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative is aimed at consolidating support for President Tinubu ahead of 2027, while strengthening grassroots engagement and national unity.
