Zenith Bank, Edo State University Launch N500,000 Excellence Awards for Top Graduating Students

Zenith Bank Plc has partnered with Edo State University, Iyamho to introduce an Award of Excellence Initiative aimed at rewarding outstanding graduating students in the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences.

According to a statement issued by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Kelly Quincy Amaechi, the merit-based initiative is designed to promote academic excellence while encouraging hard work, innovation, and leadership among students.

Under the initiative, the best graduating students with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in six departments will each receive a cash prize of N500,000 during the university’s convocation ceremony.

The departments include:

Accounting

Business Administration

Banking and Finance

Economics

Sociology

Entrepreneurship

The university disclosed that the Award of Excellence Initiative will run for five consecutive academic sessions, reflecting the shared commitment of both institutions to nurturing future leaders and promoting academic distinction.

Edo State University, Iyamho, expressed appreciation to Zenith Bank Plc for supporting the initiative and investing in the academic and professional development of students.
