The Benson Idahosa University, Benin, will on Saturday celebrate its 21st convocation ceremony, where 1,084 graduates will bag various degrees.
The Vice Chancellor of BIU, Prof John Okhuoya, who stated this at a press conference on Monday said 107 students will bag first class while individual awards would be given to deserving students.
The VC stated that 443 students will bag second class upper, 314 will get second class lower degree, while 51 will bag third class.
Okhuoya said that the graduates comprise 192 from the School of Postgraduate Studies, the
Faculty of Allied Health Sciences has 169, Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies has 18, Faculty of Arts and Education has 114, Faculty of Engineering has 76,
Faculty of Law has 162, Faculty of Science has 155 while the
Faculty of Social and Management Sciences has 221.
He said, “Our esteemed institution, The Benson Idahosa University, Benin, will on Saturday celebrate its 21st convocation ceremony, where 1,084 graduates will bag various degrees at the event.
“From this number, 107 students will bag first class, 443 students will bag second class upper, 314 will bag second class lower degree, while 51 will bag third class.”
