Supporters of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have unveiled a new political initiative, dubbed the “OK Movement,” aimed at rallying support for a potential joint presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The two politicians, who are key figures in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), are being positioned by the group as a formidable alliance capable of reshaping the country’s political landscape.
In a statement released on Monday, the movement’s National Publicity Secretary, Justin Ijeh, confirmed the rollout of the group’s leadership structure, including appointments into the national executive council as well as zonal and state-level coordinators.
According to the statement, the initiative is designed to build grassroots momentum and consolidate support across the country in anticipation of the next election cycle.
The unveiling of the “OK Movement” signals early political realignments and growing conversations around potential alliances as stakeholders begin to strategize for 2027.
