Imo State Governor and National Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hope Uzodimma, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms are beginning to deliver positive results, even as citizens endure short-term hardship.
Speaking at the APC South-West stakeholders’ meeting in Lagos, Uzodimma used a striking metaphor to describe the state of the nation before Tinubu took office. He said Nigeria was comparable to “a barren woman” struggling to conceive, until the president introduced what he called the “fertility drugs” needed to revive economic productivity.
“Nigeria was like a barren woman looking for a child before President Bola Tinubu came,” Uzodimma said, adding that the administration’s policies have set the country on the path to sustainable economic growth.
Uzodimma reaffirmed the commitment of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and APC stakeholders to supporting the president’s reform agenda, urging Nigerians to remain patient as the benefits gradually unfold.
