Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, has debunked viral claims alleging that kitchen staff at Aso Rock were arrested over an alleged attempt to poison Bola Tinubu.

The claims, which began circulating widely on social media, suggested that members of the presidential kitchen staff had been apprehended in connection with a purported plot targeting the President.

However, in a brief statement shared Sunday via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Onanuga categorically dismissed the report as false.

Describing the allegation as “fake,” the presidential spokesman urged the public to disregard the misinformation, reinforcing that there was no such incident at the Presidential Villa.

The presidency has not provided further details, maintaining that the viral claim is entirely unfounded.
