Today is a gift from God—a fresh expression of His mercy and faithfulness. May this day be better than yesterday for you and family. Amen.
Scripture Focus: Psalm 91:1
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Psalm 91 reveals God’s covering, protection, and assurance for those who trust in Him. It is a powerful reminder that divine security is found not in circumstances, but in closeness to God.
This truth was evident in the life of King David, who, despite challenges and personal flaws, experienced God’s mercy and preservation. His life teaches us that those who remain close to God will continually encounter His grace.
In times of uncertainty and unrest across nations, may you and your family find refuge in the “secret place” of the Most High, abiding under His shadow of protection, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
What is the “Secret Place”?
The secret place is:
The place of God’s presence where we commune deeply with Him.
Psalm 16:11
The place of answered prayer where God hears and responds.
Psalm 81:7
The place of worship and surrender where hearts are aligned with His will.
Psalm 63:1–2
The place of help and refuge where we lift our eyes to Him.
Psalm 121:1
The throne of grace where mercy is obtained.
Hebrews 4:16
To dwell in the secret place is to live continually in fellowship with God—trusting Him, seeking Him, and resting in His presence.
The Assurance of His Shadow.
When we abide in Him, His covering remains over us:
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me.”
Psalm 23:4
God’s presence brings comfort, protection, and peace, even in life’s most difficult moments.
