Young Nigerian Graduate Killed in Tragic Police Chase Crash in Nashville

A 23-year-old Nigerian graduate, Oluwalayomi “Layo” Fadero, has died following a tragic road accident in Nashville, United States, after a fleeing suspect drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into her vehicle.

According to local reports, the incident occurred last Friday when the suspect, identified as Ray Eugene Padgett, was attempting to evade law enforcement. During the pursuit, Padgett allegedly veered into opposite lanes, leading to a fatal collision with Fadero’s car.

Authorities confirmed that the crash resulted in the untimely death of the young Nigerian, whose passing has sparked grief among family, friends, and the wider community.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing as officials continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding the police chase and the actions of the suspect.
