President Bola Tinubu is currently in a closed-door meeting with governors elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting, which was originally slated for 4 p.m. at the Council Chamber, began around 5 p.m. after being relocated to the conference room within the President’s office.
The gathering comes just hours after the President held an emergency session with members of the Senate leadership, fueling speculation about high-level political consultations.
Among the governors present are Babagana Zulum, Hope Uzodimma, Inuwa Yahaya, Hyacinth Alia, Biodun Oyebanji, Peter Mbah, and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Sheriff Oborovweri alongside other APC governors.
