The Honourable Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, on Monday officially inaugurated the expanded Veterans and Elders Forum in Delta State.
The event took place at the NUJ Secretariat along Mariam Babangida Way in Asaba, drawing key stakeholders from the media and public service sectors.
In attendance were the Commissioner, the Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, the Chairman of the forum, Comrade Akpati Ogude, as well as members of the forum.
Discussions at the gathering focused on fostering a stronger and more productive relationship between the government and the media. Participants also explored strategies to enhance collaboration and drive sustainable development across Delta State.
