The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the successful rescue of the abducted Ibadan school students and their teachers, describing the operation as a reflection of the administration’s commitment to safeguarding lives and strengthening national security.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, the group congratulated the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, saying the successful operation underscored the effectiveness of intelligence-driven security strategies and improved collaboration among the nation’s security agencies.
According to the group, the rescue adds to what it described as a growing record of successful security operations under the Tinubu administration, where victims of kidnapping and other violent crimes have been rescued through coordinated efforts by security and intelligence agencies.
The TSG said the development demonstrates the Federal Government’s resolve to tackle insecurity and ensure that criminal elements have no safe haven across the country.
The group also praised President Tinubu’s compassion towards victims of insecurity and their families, noting that his expressions of solidarity, condolences to bereaved families, and commitment to justice reflect empathetic leadership.
It further commended the Armed Forces, the intelligence community, the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for their professionalism, patriotism and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, kidnapping, banditry and other violent crimes.
The TSG reaffirmed its confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership, expressing optimism that ongoing security reforms, strategic investments in intelligence and defence capabilities, as well as the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda, would contribute to a safer and more prosperous Nigeria.
The group urged Nigerians to continue supporting the Federal Government and security institutions in their efforts to promote peace, security and national unity.
