Being a Christian is not about how many times you preach on the streets, how many Bible verses you can quote from Genesis to Revelation, how many hours you spend in church, or how much money you contribute.
THE REAL QUESTION IS: HOW DO YOU TREAT PEOPLE?
You can preach to thousands and still lack love. You can quote the entire Bible and still be cruel to someone who needs your kindness.
What is the essence of preaching God’s love when your actions show hatred, pride, and judgment?
Christianity is not just what we profess with our mouths; it is what we demonstrate through our lives. Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35.
This does not mean preaching, praying, attending church, or giving is unimportant. It means our faith should produce love, kindness, humility, compassion, and forgiveness.
The world is watching how we treat people, especially those who cannot do anything for us. You may never preach on the streets, but your kindness can preach a powerful sermon. You may not quote a single Bible verse, but your actions can help someone experience the love of Christ.
What is the point of winning souls for Christ if our behaviour drives people away from Him?
Before you ask whether people know you are a Christian, ask yourself whether they can see Christ in the way you live.
LET US STOP ONLY TALKING ABOUT JESUS AND START LIVING THE LOVE HE TAUGHT US.
WISHING YOU ALL A BLESSED DAY.
