A magistrate court sitting in Sagamu, Ogun State, has adjourned the trial of Adeniyi Kayode, the driver of the Lexus SUV involved in the crash linked to Nigerian-born boxer Anthony Joshua, to February 25, 2026.

Kayode appeared before the court on Tuesday as proceedings continued in the case.

The Ogun State Police Command had, on January 2, arraigned the defendant on a four-count charge, including dangerous driving causing death, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care and attention, and driving without a valid national driver’s licence.
