Former Governor of Kano State and the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Kwankwaso formalised his membership on Monday in Kano, where he registered with the party and was issued his membership card.
The registration took place at Gidan Kwankwasiyya, located along Miller Road in the Bompai area of the state, marking a significant political move ahead of future alignments.
His defection signals a new phase in his political career, coming after his previous association with the NNPP, under which he contested the 2023 presidential election.
