Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has been thrown into mourning following the death of his father, Sunday Ndidi, who reportedly died in a road accident on Tuesday.
The deceased, a retired military officer, was said to have been involved in a fatal traffic accident in Umunede, located in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The sad incident has sparked an outpouring of sympathy for the Leicester City midfielder from fans and well-wishers across Nigeria and beyond.
