The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District at the Red Chamber, Senator Ede Dafinone has described the former Delta State governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori as a unifying force whose enduring legacy of leadership will continue to inspire generations across Delta and Nigeria at large.

 

Senator Ede Dafinone stated this today when he received the former governor to the National Assembly for the swearing- in of Distinguished Senator Joseph Ikpea representing Edo Central and Senator Emmanuel Nwachukwu as Senator for Anambra.

 

Senator Dafinone on his Social media handles, Facebook page, who described Chief Ibori as the “Odidigboigbo of Africa, said his commitment to progress was second to non and that he remains a towering Statesman.

“This morning, I had the privilege of welcoming our esteemed leader, His Excellency, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, to the National Assembly for the swearing-in of Distinguished Senator Joseph Ikpea, representing Edo Central and Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Nwachukwu, as Senator for Anambra South in the 10th Senate”.

He said the visit of the former Delta Governor was to witness the swearing-in of the two Senators.
