Coca-Cola is celebrating 75 years of operations in Nigeria, with consumers across the country pouring out congratulatory messages and sharing personal experiences about the iconic beverage brand’s impact on their lives.

As part of the anniversary celebration, the company announced a special offer, giving consumers 20 percent extra free in selected 60cl packs of Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite.

In a message commemorating the milestone, Coca-Cola described the occasion as a celebration of decades of shared memories, achievements and everyday moments with Nigerians.

“From the small victories to your biggest milestones, we’ve been sharing in your joy as the nation’s refreshment,” the company stated.

The anniversary has sparked an outpouring of goodwill from consumers, many of whom took to social media and other platforms to express their appreciation and admiration for the brand.

One consumer wrote, “I wish sweet Coca-Cola product happy birthday at 75 years. More progress and sweetness in Jesus’ name.”

Another added, “Congratulations. More years to celebrate with greater prosperity.”

Many consumers reflected on the brand’s enduring presence in Nigerian homes and communities over the decades.

“75 years strong and still bringing smiles to millions. Thank you, Coca-Cola, for being part of our everyday moments. Cheers to many more years ahead,” another supporter commented.

Some consumers also used the occasion to make suggestions and requests. One fan proposed the introduction of a special 75cl commemorative bottle to mark the anniversary, while another called for the return of Krest, one of the company’s former beverage brands.

Others highlighted their experiences with Coca-Cola’s promotional campaigns, with one consumer expressing appreciation for rewards won through the company’s recent scan-and-win initiatives.

The milestone underscores Coca-Cola’s long-standing relationship with Nigerian consumers and its position as one of the country’s most recognizable beverage brands. As celebrations continue, the company and its loyal customers are reflecting on a journey that has spanned generations and become part of countless memorable moments across Nigeria.
