Nigerian music icon Daddy Showkey has paid a courtesy visit to renowned philanthropist and community leader, Francis Nwaogwugu Udochukwu, as part of activities leading up to his highly anticipated “50 Years on Stage” anniversary celebration.
According to Daddy Showkey, the visit was an opportunity to personally present Udochukwu with a ticket to the landmark event while appreciating his longstanding contributions to community development and philanthropy.
Describing Udochukwu as “a great community builder and one of the greatest philanthropists in the world,” the veteran entertainer commended his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.
The music star also used the opportunity to remind fans that only two weeks remain before the historic celebration, which promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, culture, and the vibrant spirit of the ghetto that has defined his decades-long career.
The event, themed “The Journey,” is scheduled to hold on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The anniversary concert will feature performances by some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, including Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, 9ice, Kcee, Oritsefemi, African China, Saheed Osupa, Flectaman, Danfo Drivers, Marvelous Benjy, Tetuila, M3GA, Iyanya, Pasuma, and several other notable entertainers.
Ticket prices have been fixed at ₦10,000 for Regular, ₦25,000 for VIP, and ₦50,000 for VVIP, while table reservations are available at ₦1.5 million for Elite, ₦3 million for Platinum, and ₦5 million for Premium.
