ASABA — Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has congratulated former Delta State Governor and Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, on the occasion of his 67th birthday, describing his record in public service as one marked by dedication, good governance and an enduring commitment to the development of Delta State and Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday, Dafinone said Okowa’s years of service, spanning from the grassroots to the highest levels of leadership, reflected selfless service and a steadfast commitment to advancing the welfare of the people.
“On behalf of the great people of Delta Central, I heartily congratulate Your Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, on the joyous occasion of your 67th birthday,” Dafinone said.
He noted that Okowa’s contributions to the growth and development of Delta State remain significant and enduring, adding that his leadership continues to inspire many in public service.
The lawmaker also joined the former governor’s family, friends, political associates and well-wishers in thanking God for His faithfulness and grace upon Okowa’s life.
Dafinone prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the former governor, asking for excellent health, renewed strength, greater wisdom and many more years of peaceful, purposeful and impactful service to Delta State and the nation.
