The Edo State Police Command has declared a man identified as Osemwingie Igbe missing.
A statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Moses Joel Yamu, said Igbe, a resident of Iyanomo community in Benin City, left his home on October 25, 2025, and has not been seen since.
According to the statement, all efforts to trace his whereabouts have so far been unsuccessful.
Igbe is described as 45 years old, dark in complexion, about six feet tall, and without tribal marks. He is said to be mentally unstable but speaks both Benin and English fluently.
The police urged anyone with useful information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station.
