Organisers of the Greater Global Crusade with Kumuyi (G-GCK) have said the forthcoming June/July 2026 edition of the evangelistic outreach is aimed at transforming lives, fostering national development and making a positive global impact.
The assurance was given during a press conference held in Abuja on Tuesday as part of preparations for the crusade, which is expected to attract participants from across Nigeria and beyond.
Speaking with journalists, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) State Overseer, Pastor Edison Daminabo, described the upcoming programme as a unique edition of the crusade, noting that it would be the first to be held under the theme and identity of the Greater Global Crusade with Kumuyi (G-GCK).
According to him, the crusade is designed to bring spiritual revival, positive societal change and hope to individuals and communities.
“This edition is unique and promises to impact lives in a greater way. The vision is not only to transform individuals spiritually but also to contribute to national development and global impact,” he said.
Pastor Daminabo appealed to media practitioners to support the initiative through extensive publicity, stressing that increased awareness would enable more people to benefit from the programme.
He expressed confidence that the media’s partnership would help reach a wider audience and ensure the success of the crusade.
Addressing concerns over insecurity, the cleric assured prospective participants of adequate security measures throughout the event.
He noted that both spiritual and conventional security arrangements had been put in place to safeguard lives and property, emphasizing that organisers were committed to ensuring a peaceful and successful programme.
The assurance comes amid public concerns over security challenges in parts of the country and speculation in some quarters about whether the crusade would hold as scheduled.
The press conference ended with a special prayer session for journalists, after which Pastor Daminabo and members of the media took a group photograph.
The Greater Global Crusade with Kumuyi is a worldwide evangelical outreach led by Pastor William Kumuyi, founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, and is known for drawing large audiences through its message of salvation, healing and transformation.
