Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Mr. Olufemi Gbajabiamila, has issued a 72-hour ultimatum to Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi to withdraw what he described as false, malicious and defamatory allegations made against him during a widely circulated press conference, warning that failure to do so would result in both civil and criminal legal proceedings.

The ultimatum was conveyed through Gbajabiamila’s legal representatives in a letter demanding an immediate retraction of the allegations, a public apology and an end to what they described as a campaign aimed at damaging his reputation.

According to the letter, the allegations made by Adeyemi are entirely false, baseless and unsupported by any credible evidence, insisting that they were deliberately designed to mislead the public and tarnish the image of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The legal team maintained that Gbajabiamila has built a distinguished public service career spanning decades and would not allow what it described as reckless and defamatory statements to go unchallenged.

The Chief of Staff warned that if the demands are not met within 72 hours of receiving the letter, his legal team has been instructed to commence both civil and criminal actions against Adeyemi without further notice.

The development comes amid growing public attention over the allegations, which have generated widespread reactions on social media and in political circles.

As of the time of filing this report, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi had not publicly responded to the ultimatum or indicated whether he would comply with the demand for a retraction.
