The General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has encouraged Christians to fully embrace the abundant life made available through Jesus Christ.

He delivered the message during the Faith Clinic session on Day Two of the ongoing Deeper Life Global December Retreat, held on December 25, 2025. The retreat is themed, “The Great Redemption Power”, while his sermon was titled “Abundant Life in Jesus”.

Speaking from John 10:10, 2 Corinthians 4:15, and Ephesians 3:20, Pastor Kumuyi explained that eternal life is a gift freely given by God through faith in Christ, not something earned by human effort. He emphasized that once received, this life cannot be lost.

According to him, believers who accept Christ are delivered from sin, condemnation, and spiritual bondage, and are empowered to live victorious and purposeful lives. He added that through Christ, restoration is assured, including forgiveness, healing, renewed strength, and lasting peace.

Pastor Kumuyi urged participants to stand firm in the freedom they have received and to trust God for answers that surpass human understanding and limitations.

The session concluded with a powerful time of prayer, during which worshippers were encouraged to lay hold of God’s promises and walk confidently in faith.

The uniform testimony in the retreat camp is that,” God visited us this morning and we are truly blessed and transformed”.

The December global retreat will end on the 28.
