Let’s clear this once and for all.
Nigeria is a sovereign country.
That means no foreign country, not even the United States, can just wake up and bømb anywhere inside Nigeria because they feel like it.
International law is not vibes. It is rules.
Under international law, the U.S. can only carry out military action inside Nigeria in very limited situations:
1. With Nigeria’s consent
If the Nigerian government officially agrees or invites such action, then it becomes lawful. Without consent, it is a violation of sovereignty.
2. Self-defence (very strict conditions)
If a Tërrørists group inside Nigeria is carrying out or about to carry out an armed attåck directly against the U.S., and Nigeria is unable or unwilling to stop it, the U.S. may argue self-defence. Even then, the action must be necessary and proportionate.
3. UN Security Council authorisation
If the United Nations Security Council approves the use of force, then it becomes legal under international law.
Outside these three, any Bømbing would be illegal and a breach of international law.
Fīghtiñg terrørism does not cancel sovereignty.
Power does not replace law.
Even superpowers are still bound by rules.
This is not politics.
This is international law.
