Olakunle Churchill, the former husband of Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, has spoken publicly for the first time following their recent reconciliation after nearly a decade of public conflict.

The development came after Dikeh announced on Saturday that she and her ex-husband had resolved their long-running feud and agreed to move forward peacefully.

In a post shared on Instagram on Sunday, Churchill expressed deep emotion after receiving a phone call from their son, King Andre, during which the child reportedly addressed him as “daddy” for the first time.

Describing the moment as profoundly touching, Churchill said the call marked a significant turning point in his relationship with his son.

He went on to commend Dikeh for her efforts in raising King Andre, acknowledging her dedication as a mother despite the years of tension between them. Churchill also reaffirmed his commitment to co-parenting with love, maturity, and mutual respect, emphasizing that the child’s well-being remains the top priority.

The reconciliation between the former couple has drawn widespread attention, with many observers describing it as a rare moment of healing after years of highly publicized disputes.
