Pastor and Evangelist Daniel Ukpo, founder and President of Ukpo Daniel Ministries in Nasarawa State, has reportedly been arrested following a viral video in which he alleged ongoing bandit attacks in the region.
According to his wife, Elisabeth Ukpo Daniel, the clergyman has been in detention for the past 12 hours. She raised concerns about his safety and called for his immediate release as details surrounding his arrest continue to unfold.
Daniel Ukpo was allegedly arrested for raising an alarm about Fulani terrorists attack.
“There was an alleged palpable panic in Agboba village, Nasarawa State as Fulani herdsmen reportedly invaded and disrupted a church crusade”.
