The Women Wing of the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) has intensified its voter sensitization campaign in Ndokwa Nation as the ongoing nationwide Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) gains momentum in Delta State.

As part of the campaign, NNU Women Wing members have taken their sensitization and mobilization activities to major markets across Ndokwa West Local Government Area, encouraging eligible residents to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Leading the exercise in Ndokwa West, Barrister Mrs. Cynthia Oputa-Governor emphasized the importance of active participation in the voter registration process, describing it as critical to the realization of the Ndokwa collective aspiration, often referred to as the “Ndokwa Project.”

According to her, “The message is undiluted and straight to the point: go to INEC-designated registration centres in Ndokwa West and get your voter’s card to demonstrate how committed we are to the Ndokwa Project.”

Barrister Oputa-Governor stressed that there would be no retreat in the drive to ensure that every eligible voter is registered and empowered to exercise their democratic rights. She noted that voter registration remains a fundamental step toward meaningful political participation and representation.

She further stated that the NNU would continue to mobilize grassroots communities, particularly the underprivileged, in line with the vision and commitment of Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, to ensure that no eligible citizen is denied their inalienable right to vote.

The sensitization campaign has been described as part of a broader effort by the NNU Women Wing to strengthen civic awareness and participation across Ndokwa Nation.

The group reaffirmed its resolve to sustain the mobilization exercise throughout the voter registration period, urging residents to take full advantage of the opportunity provided by INEC.

“Ndokwa ma mma — Omani-Osa anyi,” the group declared.
